About Jonathan:
I completed a Master of Arts in Theology and a Master of Science in Marital and Family therapy at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA. I received my clinical training at La Vie Counseling Center where I focused on a branch of psychodynamic theory called Intersubjectivity. I also studied Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy to inform my work with couples.
Today, my practice consists of working with individual adults of various ages and backgrounds as well as couples at all stages in their relationships. I’ve been working as a therapist since 2013.
I also work as an adjunct professor at Azusa Pacific University in the Behavior Sciences department teaching undergraduate and graduate level classes. Some of the classes I teach are Couples Therapy, Abnormal Psychology, Counseling, and Human Growth and Development.
I’m an East Coast transplant to Southern California, and I’ve called Pasadena my home since 2006.
